Rock musician and actor Yuya Uchida, 71, was arrested for assault and trespassing on Thursday after he allegedly threatened his 50-year-old girlfriend, police said Friday.
According to police, upon hearing that his girlfriend was thinking about ending their relationship in March, Uchida allegedly hit the woman and started sending her threatening letters. The woman told police she changed the lock on her front door to keep Uchida out of the house, but Uchida contacted a locksmith and had the lock changed again so he could get in.
