中谷美紀が初舞台に挑戦 [芸能]
テレビドラマ「Jin-仁」で見事な花魁(おいらん)を演じた女優の中谷美紀が今度は舞台に初挑戦。
Jin-仁では２役を演じたが、今度の舞台では何と１人３役を演じる。カナダ公演は大反響を呼んだようで、日本での公演はさらに盛り上がりを見せそうです。

Miki Nakatani stage debut in 'The Hunting Gun' to include one performance with English subtitles
Actress Miki Nakatani, 35, will make her stage debut in Tokyo this month, playing three roles in “The Hunting Gun,” directed by Canadian Francois Girard (“The Red Violin,” “Silk”).
The play runs from Oct 3-23 at Shibuya Parco Theater. The 2 p.m. performance on Oct 6 will include English subtitles, promoters said.
Based on the novel by Yasushi Inoue, “The Hunting Gun” tells the story of one man and the three women with whom he is involved: his wife, his lover and her daughter. Nakatani, who previously appeared in “Silk,” will play all three female roles.
The play garnered a surprising amount of attention following a three-day run in Montreal in September. Girard told the press in Tokyo that, although the play is based on a Japanese novel, there is also a Western influence in there that he wanted to explore.
Nakatani said she was offered any part she liked, so she chose all three. “I think each of these women have their individual depths,” she explained.

井上靖の「猟銃」を原作としたこの舞台劇は、１人の男と３人の女性(妻、愛人、そして愛人の娘)の物語である。「シルク」に以前出演した中谷は、この劇で１人３役を演じる。
９月にカナダのモントリオールで行われた３日間の公演では、驚くほどの多くの注目を集めた。ジラール氏は「この劇は日本の小説をもとにしているが、私が探究していきたいと思っている西洋文化に与える影響力がこの芝居にはある」と語っている。中谷は自分の好きな役はすべて与えられたので、今回の３人の役をすべて選んだと述べた。「私が演じる女性たちは一人一人が奥深い個性を持っていると思う」と説明した。」
